Christmas Catch Up!

Can you believe it, it is Christmas next week.

Here at ESA the last few months we have been busy. Here’s a little update on what we have been up to.
This has been our busiest year yet, for attending conferences. We have met some wonderful people & hopefully gained new customers too :)
Since our last blog we have attended….
uLearn18 - October 10th-12th
This was held at the Sky City Convention Centre - uLearn is Aotearoa’s premier conference for educators, with over 1500 teachers from all over the country.
We had a great response at our stand & it is so refreshing to meet teachers who have such passion for what they do. We had wonderful time at the social events. The Gala Dinner “under the big top” was amazing and what a treat to have a mini-break in our wonderful city too.
We look forward to attending next year’s conference at Rotorua.
House of Science- November 12th
Cindy & Pipianna enjoyed their visit to Wellington. The weather was kind to them too.The National Symposium theme was “It takes a Village to Raise Scientific Literacy” and was held at the Lower Hutt Events Centre. There were less teachers than we expected in attendance, but it was a great day had by all.
BOPMA18 - November 23rd
The Bay of Plenty Mathematics Association, put on a wonderful day in beautiful Tauranga at Toi Ohomai Polytechnic.
It was a busy day, with lots of like minded teachers sharing and learning.  There were over 120 teachers from the Bay of Plenty Area.We always enjoy catching up with all the other exhibitors too - It’s a great feeling to call these people friends, not competitors :)
WRATE18 - November 26th
Wellington Regional Association for Teachers of English (WRATE) invited us to be part of their annual Professional Development day - The Big Day Out held at St Mary’s College. There were well  over a hundred English teachers from the greater Wellington region and we were thrilled to be part of the day.  Lovely to met Kathryn from the New Zealand Book Council too.
AMA Maths Days for Stats/Calc - November 26th/27th
And to wrap up the year, we attended the Auckland Mathematics Association Days for Statistics and Calculus Teachers.
We love to recognise some of the faces from previous Mathematics Conferences,  and meet some new people too!
