What you'll learn

This course is broken into three sections.

In this section you'll become a data detective‚ by carrying out an investigation. An investigation is a process of carefully looking at all the facts about something in order to learn the truth. You'll learn how to collect, organise and interpret data‚ (information) to answer statistical questions.

2. Statistical literacy

In this section you'll figure out whether the statistics other people are using are true or misleading. You'll also learn how to ask great questions to help you decide whether the statistics people are using are suitable.

3. Probability

In this section you'll learn how to predict the chance of something happening in the future the probability. You'll learn how to conduct probability experiments by using simple fractions and percentages to describe probabilities.
